Argon

Argon

Argon is a colorless, odorless, non-flammable, and inert noble gas that makes up about 0.93% of the Earth’s atmosphere. Due to its chemically stable nature, argon is widely used in industries that require a protective and non-reactive atmosphere.

It is commonly applied in welding and metal fabrication to shield molten metal from oxidation, in the production of specialty alloys, and as a protective gas in laboratories and industrial processes. Argon is also widely used in the lighting industry for filling incandescent and fluorescent lamps, and in medical applications such as cryosurgery and laser technology.
